"MusicFest started out as more or less a Jam Night for local musicians. Being one myself, I noticed the lack of venue for networking and meeting others who were interested in getting to know each other around this area, so MusicFest was going to be my way of bringing people together to share the beauty of the arts. From there it just grew and evolved and turned into what we have now. With all types of artists, performers, vendors, and craftmakers, everyone is welcome at MusicFest. It's the most amazing feeling ever to be able to raise money for Children's because they always help you when you're sick or hurt, even if you don't have insurance or the money to pay them. They saved my brother's life when he was a baby, so this is my way of giving back to them"
~Sky Holman~ (Founder/Chairman- The Association of Fine Arts: Benefiting Children.)
He then added,
"Oh, and we're always looking for more youth in the area who would be dedicated to help make something like this happen. Just send us an eMail!"
